I couldn’t tell you exactly why.
When I saw the tow truck pull up, something in the back of my head told me there would be trouble. It might have been the angle it was backing up. But I watched as it played out in glorious slow motion knowing exactly what was going to happen before it even did.
“That can’t be good”, I said to the driver as I investigated the light pole protruding from the car.
“No, no it is not”, he responded as we both stood there taking photos.
Thankfully it wasn’t my car in the tow away zone at rush hour so I just walked away.
