Peter Buck celebrates his 57th birthday this week. REM’s ax-man extraordinaire for more than 30 years, Buck has a singular style that earned him the 94th spot on Rolling Stones list of 100 Greatest Guitarists.
From REM’s third album Fables of the Reconstruction released in 1985. Mike Mills, REM’s bassist and background vocalist, grabs a guitar for this acoustic performance as well, so don’t get confused.
