[SONG] of the Day: 500 Up

Commonwealth, the eleventh studio album by the Canadian band Sloan, comes out on September ninth. Shea Garage is highlighting a few of their previous videos in anticipation of the release.

500 Up, from their first album Smeared, was one of the first videos by the band. Back in 1993, Canadians were probably pretty happy when this video popped up on the Much Music channel. It even turned up on 120 Minutes on MTV a few times. By 1995 the album went gold in Canada.
