Willie Nelson turns 80 today. A Country Music Hall of Famer, Willie has been in our lives for six decades. Along the way, he has written some of the great songs of our national soundtrack: “Crazy,” a hit for Patsy Cline, “Always on My Mind,” and “On the Road Again,” among hundreds of others. He’s also cemented a reputation, along with perhaps Snoop Dog and Bill Maher, as America’s most beloved marijuana advocate. As he says, “Roll me up and smoke me when I die.” Happy birthday to the Red Headed Stranger!
