Pete Doherty the front man for The Libertines and Babyshambles turns 35 today. Notorious for his myriad drug problems as well as his romantic relationships with Kate Moss and the late Amy Winehouse, Doherty wrote many of his songs while working as grave digger/fliller at Willesden Cemetery in London. Part Paul Weller and part Ian Dury, with a raspy off beat voice that feels nothing but authentic, Doherty has been making lively tunes ever since.
