On my way to see Bob Mould at the Bowery last Friday, I took a short pit stop to tour the Feast of San Gennaro along Mulberry St. in Little Italy. And what a feast it was! The ten day event, now in its 88th year, runs until September 21, 2014 and features dozens upon dozens of food stands serving up classic Italian dishes including connoli, gelato, sausages, pizza and much more, as well as carnival games and rides. So make sure to bring your cash and your appetite!
