Today marks the anniversary of the death of the great Lou Costello who died from a heart attack at the age of 52 back in 1959. Along with Bud Abbott, Costello was half of one of the greatest comedy teams in history. Together, Abbott and Costello starred in 36 films together and were among the highest paid entertainers in the world during their time. And, of course, their burlesque inspired word play “Who’s on First”, is the most famous bit in history.
