Today we celebrate the birthday of one of America’s most intriguing actors, Mickey Rourke, who turns 61 today. Through the years Rourke has played drunks, bruisers, and sex maniacs in a career of weird performances. Here he embodies the soul of the patron saint of drunken writers, Charles Bukowski, in the film Barfly, in all its stinking, blood soaked, dirty underwear glory!
