Adrian Smith turns 57 today. Part of the guitar onslaught that is Iron Maiden, along with compatriots Dave Murray and Janick Gers, Smith has been with the band in several stints for more than 20 years now. Featuring an attack that is pure speed, Maiden puts more riffs into a single song than most bands put on an EP, and these New Wave of British Heavy Metal pioneers are more popular now than ever – one of only a handful of bands that can sell out a stadium just about anywhere on the globe.
