Still Going – Voyager Goes Further

1.16×10^10 miles. 11,600,000,000 for the mathematically challenged. That is how many miles the Voyager 1 spacecraft has traveled. Actually, a bit more then that, since that figure was calculated in August. But at 12:56 on September 5, the Voyager 1 spacecraft began a journey that would take it further than any other man made object to date.
