Line Brawl to Start the Game – Canucks – Flames – 2014

by Shea Garage on January 21, 2014

Glorious hockey is in full effect. Over the weekend, the mutual hatred between the Vancouver Canucks and the Calgary flames erupted in a line brawl right from the opening face off.

After the first period, Canucks coach John Tortorella was still boiling mad, so much so that he attempted to storm the Flames dressing room is a fit of rage. As a result the NHL suspended Tortortella for 15 games without pay. Additionally Flames’ coach Bob Hartley was fined $25,000.

We can only hope that these two teams will meet in the playoffs and that the fireworks will continue.
