Bob Casale – Devo Guitarist Dead at 61 – RIP

Devo were one of a kind – an oddball, art house, new wave band that didn’t so much make songs as deconstruct them with their highbrow mix of surrealistic humor and social commentary. Bob Casale, one of Devo’s founding members and guitarist,  died today from heart failure at the age of 61. RIP.

Above, Devo plays their first show back in 1977.
