Andre the Giant vs Hulk Hogan – Wrestlemania

This week we’re celebrating the greatness of three folks who share the same birthday: Joey Ramone, Pete Townsend and Andre the Giant. What stars aligned to bring these three utterly unique individuals into the world on May 19, we may never know, but their collective awesomeness remains undiminished.

Andre the Giant, true to his name, was one of the most recognizable sports figures of the 20th. This “Eight Wonder of the World” as he was often known was, along with Hulk Hogan, the force that catapulted professional wrestling into the stratosphere. Here Andre and the Hulk go head to head at Wrestlemania 3.
